League Vision,
Aims and Values
The Asian Football League believes that everyone has a right
to engage in football at all levels be it as a Spectator, Coach,
Referee or Player. We strongly believe that social integration
will aid in bringing all the communities of this country
together under the banner of competitive sport, by breaking down
preconceived ideas and stereotypical misconceptions about
Asians. To this end, we aim to;
- Be the voice of Asian Football in order to promote the
game both internally within communities, and externally with
mainstream footballing organisations.
- We will continue to provide opportunities to participate
in football by providing a safe, disciplined and integrated
environment where only the desire to developing skills in
the game are a prerequisite.
- We will provide opportunities for our members to move
from playing to having qualifications as referees and
coaches

Challenge Cup Winners 2009 are
London APSA

PSG 0 - 1
London Apsa
PSG probably entered this game as favourites having already beaten Apsa
in three meetings in the season but Cup Finals tell their own story.
This was a fierce encounter with both teams restricting each other to no
clear shot on either goal. Across the pitch there was some great battles
including Apsa's Mo Dakri attacking threat against the smaller but
resolute defending of Qidee Waheed. Second half was much the same with
only half chances for both teams. There was a spate of bookings as the
rivalry between these two clubs looked like it was going to boil over.
PSG backline lost concentration at the vital moment deep into injury
time allowing Apsa to get the winner and deny PSG the treble.

Gate created panick and led to penalty to Forest Gate, El Waliy smashed
away to deservedly drew Forest level. Half time followed with chances
rare, 2nd half was also saw limited chances, both keepers pulled a great
save each. Extra time saw both teams more open, maybe because of the
tired legs, chances came at will before penalty shoot out decided fate
